Infrared Handed And The Horn
Bee with flower survivals both: no bee bargains, collectively or otherwise,
to trade its day for pay, no bee collects or dispenses flower-"favors"
or vice or virtue-versa. It's called precession--the mutual inadvertent
fecundation of moving bodies at right angles: the invisible epiphenomenal
hand, or knight's move, of synergy. A figurative predecessor, a simpler
model but no less romantic is Adam Smith's "invisible hand of the
market" which supposedly outpictured "public good from private
greed"--Unfortunately, that invisible hand is now infrared--caught
performing unconscionable acts in the age of child-molesting and mass
exploitation through corporate industry and marketing. The moment abundance
was technically available, the moment the technological/industrial cornucopia
was recognized (now for several decades), the Invisible Hand turned demonic--
it became a pale claw. Right turned left. Only demons, devils would leave
people to starve and die in the streets while hoarding and guarding a
horn of plenty, said voices in the world-wide discussion.
