Omens With Birds
1. Grace is periodic.
2. Omens with birds: Pigeon slams into large plate-glass
window of McPherson Playhouse. Walking then dazed, looking at me, man
on bench. The approach of a crow: the stalk, head down: and then, flying
away: to return with a big bull gull by his side. The gull's short stock,
stalk: the pigeon's pitiful attempt to fly, chasing his reflection a foot
or two up the glass. Lightning-like strike = pigeon's neck in the
gull's beak-scissors. The crow excited, standing by. Then, both hopping
around the corner to the Pandora St. side, out of sight of my bench-view.
Then the little demure little happy whirlwinds, comma, semicolon winds
interpolating punctuation in the story-line now gone: to this. Little
whirlwinds spun by architecture, that part of Centennial Square, and a
few feathers riding those little traveling circles.
