Hospitals--Iatrogenic, Nosocomic breeding active mausoleums of sterility, unhappiness, and the gross exaggeration of the myth of the "scientific" detached lab-coated archaic authority.

Public and many private schools--truly demonic mutilators of the free movement, exuberance, leisure that learning requires. Calls exuberance "hyperactivity" and individuality "attention deficit." Authoritarianism that chokes the independence that thinking needs.

Government, economics--working with artificially limited resources. Subsidizing "advanced sectors of industry" at the expense of many. Gross artificial creation, preservation, of scarcities.

Corporatism mouthing clichés about improving production. No wealth for consumption. Worlds of spaceflight riding lower, higher over the starving ones.

Churches, and "new age spirituality"--many sops, sugar pops, Pollyanna consumerism, denial. Sometimes to the gruesome death.

 

The persistent and pervasive enemy of liberty is the Way of Life acceptable to the country generally, and it needs no statute, decree, proclamation or indoctrination to effect its instinctive ends.
